Bazingal: hearty stew of eggplant, lentils, spinach, sweet potatoes and okra (vegetarian)

Kusa Mahshi- stuffed squash with rice and lamb and spicy tomato sauce

Digag Belganzabir(ginger chicken): fricassee of fresh chicken with ginger, garlic, onions, coconut milk and spices

Baboosa (semolina cake): a light cake made with semolina baked and served with vanilla-rose syrup

Crème Carmella: a Sudanese favorite….vanilla custard with cherry garnish
